Environmental Studies

YME, Ld.ª, coordinates and carries out all the environmental process necessary for the development of projects, from the initial moment, in the feasibility analysis phase prior to the development of the project, until obtaining the favorable opinions of the entities for delivery to the Client, providing all technical assistance in the adoption of the best solution for the project, and accompanying the necessary steps until its completion.

Depending on the specific needs of each project and throughout the different stages of its life cycle, the scope of action of YME, Ld.ª, covers a wide range of typologies of environmental studies,

Service summary

  • Selection of viable land for the project location;
  • Analysis of environmental constraints and land use planning, for the implementation of the project;
  • Preliminary Assessment Studies, for decision by the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA), as to whether or not the project fits into the Legal Regime for Environmental Impact Assessment (RJAIA);
  • Environmental Impact Studies (EIA) and monitoring of the environmental impact assessment process, until obtaining the Environmental Impact Decision (DIA) and issuing the Single Environmental Title (TUA);
  • Execution Project Environmental Compliance Reports (RECAPE);
  • Environmental Incidence Studies (EIncA) and monitoring of the environmental impact assessment process, until obtaining the Environmental Incidence Decision (DIncA) and the issuance of the Single Environmental Title (TUA);

  • Environmental Monitoring Plans for the Construction and Exploration phases;
  • Compensatory Measures Plans;
